Frequently asked questions
Practical answers about badge orders, club quantities, custom editions, shipping, downloads and official status.
Orders and pricing
Can clubs order numbered badge series?
Yes. Club and federation orders can include serial numbering, engraving, mixed badge types and recurring annual award sets.
What are the current quantity prices?
The standard badge price decreases by quantity tier. Diamond Wreath versions, engraving, custom design work and shipping are calculated as separate line items.
Can clubs mix badge types in one order?
Yes. A single club order may combine training badges, Silver, Gold, Diamond and distance awards, depending on the quantity and production batch.
Custom editions
Can we request a national or club edition?
Custom editions can be prepared with national colors, club references or dedicated event wording. Larger orders can also include a unique design template and sample review.
Can badge numbers or names be engraved?
Yes. Serial numbers, pilot names, dates, club names or event references can be added when the selected badge format and batch timing allow it.
Can the program be repeated every season?
Yes. The badge system is designed for recurring annual awards, seasonal recognition and longer-term club or federation programs.
Shipping and files
Do you ship internationally?
Orders can be prepared for international delivery. Shipping is quoted with the order confirmation, based on destination, quantity and packaging requirements.
What files are available for communication?
Catalog material, product images and publication-ready assets can be supplied for club announcements, federation communication, press use and partner presentations.
How should we start a club request?
Send the badge types, estimated quantities, deadline, destination country and any numbering or customisation notes through the contact form.
Official status
Are these official FAI badges?
Glider Awards is an independent badge project inspired by the visual tradition of soaring achievements. It is not an official FAI shop or a replacement for national aeroclub certification.
What remains the formal proof of achievement?
The formal proof is the signed and numbered Diploma issued through the appropriate NAC process. The badge is the visible emblem of that achievement.
Still have a specific question?
Send the order type, badge quantity and deadline, and we will route the request to the right conversation.
